The New Normal

We are so happy that we have been able to open up our holiday cottages again. The lockdown has been a difficult time for us all and we hope you are ready to book your next break away. Obviously, we find ourselves in unchartered territory so if you have any questions just let us know. Similarly, if you think we have missed something please let us know and we will review our protocols and practices. The safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority and so we thought we should let you know of the measures we have had to put in place in order to safeguard everybody as much as we can and minimise the spread of coronavirus.

Extra Safety Measures

In order to comply with government guidance and aid the NHS Test and Trace scheme we will be asking you to confirm that your party consists of no more than 6 people and provide a lead contact’s name, phone number and email address for each household. This information will be obtained by one of our members of staff and not passed to anyone else. It will be stored for 21 days and then deleted. Should anyone who has been in the property you are staying in, develop any symptoms within this 21 day period, you will be informed immediately.  We encourage everyone to download and use the NHS Covid-19 App!

Cleaning

We pride ourselves on our high cleaning standards, however, we have taken extra precautions at this time to ensure that the risk of transmitting the virus has been lowered as much as possible.  Our employees wear PPE when they are cleaning the properties and additional cleaning schedules are in place for hand contact surfaces. We have provided additional cloths, antibacterial sprays, wipes and hand wash in the property for your use during your stay.

Limiting contact with other Guests

We are lucky at Nether Burrows Farm that we have so much beautiful countryside surrounding us, and our properties and outdoor areas are so spacious. Obviously, it is important to maintain a safe distance from guests that may be staying in other properties on the site. We have allocated an area of land on the site for each property so that you can enjoy the outside space without coming into contact with other guests. Sunshine Cottage and The Farmhouse each have a garden area directly adjacent to the property. Willow Barn and Meadow View have each had an area of the Meadow fenced off.

We want to thank you all our guests and future guests in advance for your cooperation so that we can all keep safe.  We are all in this together and echo the Governments message, HANDS, FACE, SPACE!

What other changes have we made?

Unfortunately, we have had to remove soft furnishings, extra blankets, games, books, magazines, leaflets and the like from the properties, however feel free to bring any of these items with you to use during your stay.
